Call for Cooperation Project in Higher Education Area / EEA Grants 2014-2021

Education, Scholarship, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship Programme, financed through the EEA Grants 2014-2021, launched a new Call for Cooperation Project in Higher Education Area.

This represents an opportunity for developing cooperation projects, based on common needs, between Romania, donor states Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway, and other EEA Grants beneficiary states universities.

Work meeting of NOROCC President, Indonesian Ambassador to Norway and Indonesian Economic Affairs Counsellor

The President of the Norwegian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, Ionut Eriksen, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for the Kingdom of Norway and Republic of Iceland, Todung Mulya Lubis, and the Economic Affairs Counsellor, Aulia Rinaldi Ahza, for a meeting at the head office of NOROCC, on Wednesday, September 16th.

The officials approached the evolution of the most prolific industries from Indonesia and discussed about investment opportunities.

The first edition of ClassiX Festival

Business and music have always been synergistic.

Between February 16th and February 22nd 2020, the first edition of ClassiX Festival was held in Iași, Romania, welcoming over 20 musicians from Norway, Romania and other 8 countries, and including panels dedicated to business and education that gathered diplomats, entrepreneurs, professors, and representatives of public authorities.

ClassiX Festival was founded by Dragoș Andrei Cantea, Romanian pianist working and studying in Oslo and Artistic Director of the festival, and organized with the help of Asociația Industrii Creative from Iași. The project brought together a wide array of partners: the Royal Norwegian Embassy to Romania, the Norwegian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, the Norwegian Academy of Music, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Bucharest, Novia University of Applied Sciences, Trondheim Solistene, DAC Music Performance, the Mayor House of Iasi, “George Enescu” Arts University of Iasi, Iasi Philharmonic, the Iasi Athaeneum, “Mihai Eminescu” Central University Library of Iasi, the Culture Palace of Iasi, the Roman-Catholic Diocese of Iasi, “Moldova” National Museum Complex of Iasi, Rotary IASI Curtea Domneasca, Bellaria Hotel, GRAMMA, Time Out, Cuptorul Moldovencei, SaptePremium, AQUA Carpatica, Garage -Rent a Dress-, Fab Lab Iasi, Iulius Mall Iasi, Rotaract Iasi Curtea Domneasca, Premium Nordic Cars – Dealer Volvo Iasi, Ambra Sign, Levant Construct, Basware, Travis Tourism, Freedom House România, Radio România Cultural, Revista FPM, Ziarul de Iasi, IasiFun, Radio Iaşi, Vocile 2.0, Viva FM Iași, RadioHit Iasi, WINK Public Multimedia, TVR Iasi.

Nordic Harmonies in Iași, Romania, with the Trondheim Soloists

Organized under the ClassiX Festival which took place in Iași last week, this is how the Nordic Harmonies concert was like. It was opened by the wonderful children from Centrul MIA CASA Inculeț in Bârnova, who sang the Norwegian anthem, and continued with a chamber music feast offered by the Trondheim Soloists.

NOROCC is proud of having supported the organizers of the first edition of the ClassiX Festival and would like to congratulate the young team – all under 30 – who brought this series of concerts and academic and business events to life: Dragoș Andrei Cantea, pianist and artistic director of this festival, Patricia Roxana Butucel and Anca Floroiu, and their team of volunteers.

Nordic Film Festival 2020 in Bucharest

This February the North is celebrated in Bucharest at the second edition of the Nordic Film Festival.

The first edition, organized last year, brought joy to cinephiles of all ages from Bucharest, Sibiu and Chișinău (Republic of Moldova), by giving them the opportunity to watch Nordic productions.

Five days are dedicated to Nordic Film this month. Cinema Elvire Popesco (77 Dacia Blvd., Bucharest) welcomes movie lovers between February 19 and February 23.

18 Nordic movies will be projected.
